The patented architecture defines the Watch-Time Unit — every 30 seconds of uninterrupted, monetized viewing — as the platform’s foundational economic unit. When an ad served during viewing is watched in full, real advertising revenue is generated and shared: creators receive a tiered share rising automatically from 45% to 70% as content reaches more unique viewers, and logged-in viewers receive a share of eligible monetized watch time in LYK Coins, which carry real US dollar value.
