Vyome Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: HIND) (“Vyome”), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on immuno-inflammatory and rare disease conditions, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) has issued a Notice of Allowance for U.S. Patent Application No. 17/787,303, titled “Formulations and Method for Treatment of Inflammatory Diseases.”

The USPTO has allowed the multiple claims filed under the above application number covering formulations and methods of use underlying Vyome’s VT-1908 program.

VT-1908 is Vyome’s novel topical ophthalmic formulation of mycophenolate being developed initially for anterior uveitis, with a longer-term opportunity to address a broader range of ocular and periocular inflammatory conditions where steroid-sparing or steroid-replacement therapies are needed. Vyome has previously estimated from public sources the broader global addressable market for ocular inflammation at more than $20 billion by 20351. Potential indications include uveitis, post-operative ocular inflammation, scleritis, blepharitis, dry eye, and other inflammatory conditions of the eye.

The scientific foundation for VT-1908 has already undergone peer review. Preclinical results were published in February 2026 in the Journal of Ophthalmic Inflammation and Infection, a Springer Nature journal, in the paper “Topical mycophenolate for the treatment of uveitis-associated inflammation2.” The study demonstrated that topical mycophenolate achieved therapeutic ocular concentrations, significantly reduced inflammation in a preclinical uveitis model, and showed efficacy comparable to topical steroid treatment.

Venkat Nelabhotla, CEO of Vyome, stated, “We believe this Notice of Allowance significantly strengthens the intellectual property foundation around VT-1908. While uveitis is our initial development focus, our longer-term vision is much broader. Topical steroids are extensively used across ocular inflammatory conditions, and there remains a significant need for effective steroid-sparing alternatives. We believe VT-1908 has the potential to address this broader need across an ocular inflammation market opportunity exceeding $20 billion. With strong intellectual property and peer-reviewed scientific validation, we believe VT-1908 represents an important additional value driver within Vyome’s immuno-inflammatory pipeline.”

Dr. Shiladitya Sengupta, Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Co-Founder of Vyome, said, “Mycophenolate is a well-established immunomodulator, but delivering it effectively as a topical ophthalmic therapy required solving significant formulation and drug-delivery challenges. Our published preclinical work demonstrated that topical VT-1908 can potentially achieve the desired ocular exposure and produce anti-inflammatory efficacy comparable to a steroid in the uveitis model. The USPTO Notice of Allowance further validates the novelty of the formulation and methods underlying this approach and supports our broader scientific objective of developing a non-steroidal alternative for inflammatory diseases of the eye.”

About VT-1908

VT-1908 is Vyome’s investigational topical ophthalmic formulation of mycophenolate being developed as a potential steroid-sparing treatment for anterior uveitis. Preclinical studies have demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity following topical ocular administration, supporting continued development of VT-1908 as a potential non-steroidal therapeutic approach for patients with anterior uveitis.
