Axiado Corporation, a semiconductor company adding platform intelligence to AI infrastructure, will demonstrate its Platform Intelligence Controller (PIC) at the Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, October 12-15 at the San Jose Convention Center, booth A1. The demonstrations show AI-driven management running directly in silicon, making AI infrastructure measurably more efficient, more secure, and more reliable.
AI moves in milliseconds. Infrastructure management still moves in minutes. Power transients, thermal events and security incidents on AI racks happen faster than management systems designed for earlier generations of infrastructure can respond. The result is stranded power, an exposed management plane, and failures discovered only after the damage is done.
The PIC, built on Axiado’s TCU silicon, closes the management loop in real time, on the platform itself. Autonomous agents running on production-class AI systems have delivered significant improvements in power efficiency: 40% reduction in CPU power and 20% reduction in GPU power with no performance impact, and 50% reduction in air cooling power. Modeled from these measured reductions, the TCU-based PIC can enable up to 30% more tokens per watt from the infrastructure operators are already deploying. Additional AI agents running on the PIC show rapid response to security incidents and hardware failure prediction to reduce downtime.
“Autonomous infrastructure starts in the silicon,” said Gopi Sirineni, Founder, President and CEO of Axiado. “AI infrastructure now moves faster than traditional management systems can respond. By putting AI agents directly at the foundation of the platform, infrastructure can sense, decide and act in milliseconds, recovering power that would otherwise be stranded and turning it into productive AI capacity, protecting infrastructure from AI-driven attacks, and helping limit costly hardware failures that disrupt data center operations.”
Detailed video demonstrations at booth A1 include examples of Axiado technology integrated with a variety of Arm, x86, and GPU platforms:
Platform Intelligence Demos
- Security: detecting AI-driven attacks on the management plane and compromised AI agents on the host, out of band, from silicon that the host operating system cannot tamper with.
- Efficiency: AI agents tuning power and cooling to the live workload, measured across x86 and Arm platforms from multiple vendors, with no infrastructure changes.
- Reliability: predicting storage failures weeks before they become downtime, measured on drive-health data.
Other Technology Demos
- Rack scale intelligence: management software providing a unified foundation for rack efficiency, operational visibility and runtime security. Demos show coordination of power across GPUs under a fixed rack cap, the first step from the server to the fleet.
- OCP OBMF telemetry consolidation: Axiado’s implementation of the OCP OBMF standard simplifies integration of telemetry interfaces across heterogeneous platforms.
- Edge server managed by Axiado TCU: demonstration of the applicability of the TCU and platform intelligence to another class of infrastructure.
- Arm: demonstration of the TCU managing an Arm reference server over open management standards.
Axiado will be at booth A1 throughout the summit with the video demos described above, as well as TCU and PIC product samples, and live demonstrations in Axiado’s nearby San Jose office are available by appointment. About Axiado
Axiado is a semiconductor company adding platform intelligence to AI infrastructure. Axiado’s Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU) brings intelligence into the platform itself: a single SoC combining hardware-rooted security, real-time control, platform management, and on-chip AI. Delivered as Secure Control Modules in OCP standard form factors, Axiado silicon senses, decides, and acts on the platform in real time, making AI infrastructure more efficient, more secure, and more reliable. Founded in 2019, Axiado is headquartered in San Jose, California, with engineering centers in Taiwan, India, and Vietnam. Learn more at axiado.com.
