Trinity Hunt Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm, today announced the formation of Steadpoint Industrial Services, an industrial aftermarket Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (“MRO”) services platform. Northline Industrial, a Michigan-based industrial aftermarket MRO provider, anchors the platform as Steadpoint’s foundational investment.
Founded in 2006, Northline provides mission-critical aftermarket industrial repair, field services, outsourced repair, equipment sales, staffing services, and integration solutions to manufacturers and distributors across Michigan, Indiana, and North Carolina. Operating through five coordinated business units, the company delivers specialized MRO services across a diverse customer base. Northline has built its reputation on its people, with a technician workforce known for deep expertise, strong tenure, and a culture where skilled tradespeople can build lasting careers.
“The people who have grown with Northline over the past 20 years are what make this business what it is,” said Chuck Baase, Co-Founder of Northline. “We wanted a partner who not only understood our business, but who genuinely cared about the people who make it run. This is exactly what we found in Trinity Hunt Partners, and we are excited about what this partnership makes possible.”
The market for specialized industrial repair and maintenance services is large and highly fragmented, with meaningful benefits to scale. Trinity Hunt Partners will support Steadpoint’s growth through strategic acquisitions and organic initiatives focused on institutionalizing a professional go-to-market engine, building on Northline’s relationship-driven sales foundation. Courtney Pernat joins Steadpoint as Chief Financial Officer, bringing experience as the former CFO of Summit Companies, a fire and life safety buy-and-build. Ross Morgan joins as Chief Development Officer, having previously led the M&A function at Mariani Premier Group, a residential landscaping buy-and-build platform.
“Automation and advanced manufacturing are driving growing, consistent, and recurring demand for industrial MRO services, and we saw a clear opportunity to build a national platform in this space,” said Garrett Greer, Partner at Trinity Hunt Partners. “Northline has built a proven business anchored by mission-critical MRO capabilities, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to its people. That combination provides an exceptional foundation for the platform’s next phase of growth through this investment.”
Trinity Hunt Partners is actively seeking opportunities to expand Steadpoint through partnerships with industrial MRO service companies across the United States. For more information, please contact rmorgan@steadpointindustrial.com.
