Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs recently addressed speculation surrounding his touchdown celebration, clarifying the gesture’s inspiration.
During a game, Jacobs was seen briefly placing his hands behind his back after scoring a touchdown. The action led to various interpretations online, with some suggesting it was related to his recent legal matters or a depiction of handcuffs.
However, Jacobs himself has stated that the celebration was not connected to any legal issues or intended as a simulated handcuffing. Instead, he explained that the gesture was inspired by the gospel song “Break Every Chain.”
The clarification aims to provide transparency regarding his on-field expressions and to dispel any misconceptions about his motivations.
